Once you are on probation, you are subject to certain conditions. You must report to your probation officer, stay out of trouble, and always test negative for illegal substances. In some cases, curfews are imposed, and other special conditions may be put into effect. While you are out in the community subject to these conditions, a jail sentence is always hovering over you.
Violating any of these conditions subjects you to serving your entire sentence. If a probation violation warrant is taken out against you, you must get representation. In many cases, you will be able to get your probation reinstated, but only with a committed legal defense.
